Patna: St. Michael’s High School on Monday organised a felicitation ceremony to honour students who excelled in the CBSE Class XII examinations for 2026.
The programme was held during the school’s morning assembly and attended by students, teachers, parents and members of the St. Michael’s Alumni Association.
Gold Medals Presented To Toppers Across Streams
Students from the Science, Commerce and Humanities streams were awarded Certificates of Merit, appreciation certificates and gold medals in recognition of their academic performance.
According to the school:
- Rohan Prasad of Class XII-C secured 98.6% in the Science stream
- Shivam Raj of Class XII-G scored 98% in Commerce
- Asna Khan of Class XII-H achieved 97% in Humanities
The school said the achievements reflected the institution’s long-standing academic tradition and commitment to excellence.
Principal Emphasises Character And Discipline

Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr. A. Christu Savarirajan congratulated the students and praised their discipline, determination and consistency.
He said success should not be measured solely through examination marks but also through:

- commitment
- sustained effort
The Principal also acknowledged the contribution of teachers and parents in supporting the students’ academic journey.
Alumni Association Highlights Value-Based Education

Dr. Vikas Shankar, President of the St. Michael’s Alumni Association, delivering the presidential address, spoke about the importance of:
- goal-setting
- discipline
- time management
- value-based education
He described the toppers as role models for future students and thanked teachers and parents for their continued support.
The medals and certificates were presented by:

- Dr. Vikas Shankar, President of St Michael’s Alumni Association
- Dr. Manish Mandal, President-Elect of Alumni Association

Ceremony Draws Parents, Alumni And Students
The event included group photographs, interactions with parents and applause from students and faculty members.
According to organisers, the ceremony was coordinated by Mrs. Sudhanshu, Treasurer of Alumni Association, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Manas Ranjan, Secretary of the Alumni Association.
