Patna: St. Xavier’s University in Patna recently held a five-day orientation programme for its teachers. The aim was to train them in new ways of teaching and to use technology better in their classes. Teachers from different departments took part in this programme.
During the sessions, experts taught teachers how to use digital tools, make interesting online content for students, and connect with industries for projects and research. They also attended workshops where they practised these skills to use them in their classrooms easily.
The university wants its teachers to work closely with industries so that students can learn about real-life work and gain practical knowledge along with their studies. This will help students prepare better for their future careers.
University officials said that training teachers is very important to keep education quality high. They added that using new teaching methods, creativity, and critical thinking will give students a world-class learning experience.
