Patna: A memorial institution dedicated to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, titled the “Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Club and Film Development Institute,” has been formally announced in Patna. The initiative aims to provide training, mentorship and a creative platform for young people interested in the fields of art, culture and cinema.
The institute has been founded by Krishna Kumar Singh, Pramod Kumar Singh, Prof. B.N. Singh, Arun Singh, Dr. Sunil Chand Chuni, Shailendra Kumar Singh, Chandrashekhar Singh and Rajeshwari Singh. Speaking on the occasion, actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, Krishna Kumar Singh, said the institute draws inspiration from his son’s creative vision and dreams.
He said the platform will help youth pursue careers in acting, direction, writing and technical education related to film and television. “Sushant always believed in learning and innovation. This institute will give aspiring artists the opportunity to develop their skills and express themselves creatively,” he said.
The institute is being supported by “Chuni Film and TV Production,” sponsored by Dr. Sunil Chand Chuni. Its office is located in the Kankarbagh Housing Colony in Patna.
In the coming months, the institute plans to organise workshops, training programmes and cultural activities to nurture talent and promote creative arts among the youth of Bihar.
