Taj City Center Receives Letter of Intent from Bihar Tourism Minister

Patna: Tourism Minister Nitish Mishra on Thursday handed over the letter of intent for the launch of the high-level five-star hotel Taj City Center built in the capital under the new tourism policy. Secretary, Tourism Department Abhay Kumar Singh and Director Vinay Kumar Rai were also present on the occasion. The Tourism Minister handed over the letter of intent to Siddharth Jain, General Manager of Hotel Taj City Center.
Under the Bihar Tourism Policy 2023, the Ambuja Neotia Group, owner of the Taj City Centre, Patna, has been provided with incentive funds. This letter of intent has been given under the scheme by the Minister of Tourism and Industry in the presence of Secretary Tourism Abhay Kumar Singh.
On this occasion, Minister Nitish Mishra said that this is the first major investment of a big hotel group in the state under the new tourism policy of the state. The five-star hotel with high facilities built at a total cost of Rs 236 crore will now be launched soon. After the arrival of Taj, the hotel industry in the state will expand further and tourists as well as residents of Bihar will get high quality hotel facilities in the capital.
Tourism Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh said that under the new tourism policy, many types of facilities are being given for investing in the tourism industry in the state. It is a matter of happiness that the first proposal has got clearance.
He has invited investors from all over the country to invest in the tourism sector of Bihar.
