Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Lalu Prasad, was taken to hospital in Patna on Wednesday morning after his health reportedly deteriorated, prompting concern among supporters.
Tej Pratap was rushed to the emergency department of Mediversal Hospital in the Kankarbagh area after he complained of severe stomach pain. According to hospital sources, he arrived at around 11am and remained under observation for nearly two and a half hours.
Doctors conducted a series of medical examinations, including tests related to abdominal discomfort. He was examined by Dr Marachi Ranjan, while an ultrasound was carried out by Dr Piyush. Sources familiar with the medical assessment said the test results were within normal limits.
Tej Pratap had also visited the same hospital on Tuesday night, though at that time he had reportedly gone to see another patient and did not seek treatment for himself.
Following Wednesday’s examination, doctors prescribed medication and advised dietary precautions. Hospital officials said his condition was stable and that there was no cause for immediate concern.
