Tourism and Adventure Hub, Boat House Camp, and More: CM Nitish Unveils Projects Worth Rs 1,378 Crore in Rohtas

Sasaram/ Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Rohtas on Wednesday as part of his Pragati Yatra, inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for 1,220 projects worth Rs 1,378.45 crore. This included the foundation of 971 projects amounting to Rs 1,110.23 crore and the inauguration of 249 schemes valued at Rs 268.22 crore.

Among the key initiatives, CM Nitish laid the foundation stone for the Karamchat Eco Tourism and Adventure Hub in Chenari block at a cost of Rs 49.73 crore, the Boat House Camp Scheme in Badalgarh village worth Rs 2.71 crore, and the Bhaluni Dham Eco Park in Dinara block, which will be developed at a cost of Rs 14.89 crore. Officials provided the chief minister with detailed project plans through site models and layouts.

During the foundation ceremony of the Durgawati Eco Tourism and Adventure Hub, Kumar also inaugurated a project led by the Adivasi Janjati Vikas Samiti, which involves manufacturing hot air balloons and biodegradable dona and plates from sal leaves. Additionally, he unveiled community infrastructure projects, including a community animal shed (Rs 9.90 lakh), a badminton court (Rs 9.98 lakh), and a playground and pond (Rs 9.89 lakh) near the Panchayat Government Building in Malhipur.

Cm Nitish also inspected the proposed bridge construction site over the Kav river in Bajitpur village of Sanjhauli block. In Bikramganj block, he visited the Integrated Agriculture and Utkarsh Biofuel Plant in Ghusiokhurd village, issuing instructions to officials for further development. Concluding his visit, he inaugurated the newly constructed laboratory at Plus Two Beladhi High School at the District Panchayat Resource Centre (DPRC) in Beda, Sasaram.
