Hajipur: Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Industries, Jitan Ram Manjhi, visited the Central Silver Plant (CSP) of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) in Hajipur on Saturday. During his visit, he inspected the process of making silver and tape from various types of cotton and instructed the CSP to modernise its machinery and take measures to enhance the plant’s production capacity.
In a post on social media platform X, Manjhi expressed his appreciation for the work being done by CSP Hajipur and shared details of his tour. He engaged with officials to gather information about ongoing operations and assured them of his commitment to provide all possible assistance to boost the plant’s production capacity.
The CSP in Hajipur plays a crucial role in preparing raw materials for the Khadi industry, supplying them to various Khadi institutions. Since assuming office as MSME Minister, Manjhi has been dedicated to promoting micro, small, and medium industries across the country.
