Patna: In a sweeping restructuring move, the Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) has dissolved its state unit, district units, and affiliated cells with immediate effect. The announcement followed a core committee meeting chaired by the party’s national president and Rajya Sabha MP, Upendra Kushwaha.
According to the party’s national general secretary and spokesperson, Fazal Imam Malik, a five-member steering committee has been constituted to oversee party operations during the transition. The committee will supervise organisational management and coordinate forthcoming programmes and activities.
Madan Chaudhary has been appointed as the convener of the committee, with Subhash Chandravanshi, Prashant Pankaj, Himanshu Patel and RK Sinha serving as members. The panel will remain in charge until a new structure is created and new teams are formed from the state level downwards.
Party leaders have described the decision as an effort to rejuvenate the organisation ahead of political challenges. The leadership believes the changes will bring “new dynamism” to the RLM and help strengthen its grassroots base.
Senior leaders including Madhav Anand, Alok Singh, Rampukar Sinha, Jang Bahadur Singh, Angad Kushwaha and Smriti Kumud were present at the meeting.
