Madhubani District to Receive Rs. 12 Crore for Tourism Development of Temples and River Front
Madhubani: The Bihar Tourism Department has initiated a series of projects to enhance tourism infrastructure in Madhubani district. These projects, with a combined investment of over Rs 12 crore, will focus on developing the Kamla River Front, Baba Bideshwar Sthan, and Shantinath Mahadev Temple.
The development of the Kamla River Front will include the construction of view points at Kandrpi Ghat and Kanhauli Ghat, along with amenities such as coffee shops.
At Baba Bideshwar Sthan, the project will encompass the development of the temple premises, including flooring, lighting, drainage work, and the construction of a marriage hall, toilet block, and a main gate.
Similarly, Shantinath Mahadev Temple will undergo significant improvements, including the development of the ghat in Shantinath pond, pathways, a musical fountain, a selfie point, and improved temple premises.
The Tourism Department has already completed the tender process for these projects, and construction work is expected to commence soon. These initiatives aim to enhance the tourism experience for visitors and promote the rich cultural and religious heritage of Madhubani.
