Rahul Gandhi Arrives in Patna Amid Mahagathbandhan Tensions Over Seat Sharing

Patna: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi arrived in Patna on Saturday amid rising tensions within the Mahagathbandhan over seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. After landing at Patna airport, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav at Hotel Maurya.

Gandhi’s visit includes a packed schedule, beginning with his participation in the ‘Samvidhan Surakasha Samellan’ at Bapu Sabhagar, an event organized by civil society groups. He is expected to spend two hours at the conference, engaging with representatives from various social organizations.

Following this, the Congress leader will head to the party’s state headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, where he will address party workers and inaugurate the newly constructed Indira Bhawan. The visit is seen as a significant move to bolster the Congress’s position in Bihar amidst growing uncertainties within the alliance.
