Buxar: The National Democratic Alliance staged a major show of strength on Sunday in Buxar, with its leaders vowing to secure a decisive victory in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. The rally, held on the historic grounds of Kila Maidan, saw senior leaders from the BJP, JDU, LJP (R), HAM, and RLSP addressing party workers, urging them to mobilize at the grassroots level.
Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, BJP state president and Bihar’s revenue and land reforms minister, set the tone, describing the coalition’s priority as working in line with public aspirations. “This is a party that values its workers over family dynasties. Opportunities in our organization are earned, not inherited,” He said, taking aim at the opposition RJD.
He praised the role of BJP workers in making the party the largest in the world, calling them the NDA’s backbone. Jaiswal also underscored the coalition’s commitment to welfare schemes, urging workers to ensure that “no family is left behind.” Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he said India had gained global recognition, while Bihar was progressing rapidly under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
JDU state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha echoed this sentiment, describing the alliance’s workers as its “true strength.” He expressed confidence in the NDA’s ability to retain power, provided unity is maintained down to the booth level. “The opposition is disheartened, lacking both policies and purpose,” he said.
Raju Tiwari, state president of LJP (R), painted a picture of economic transformation in Bihar, claiming the state had moved from “abductions to industries.” He said major companies were now eager to invest, with the government extending support to industrialists.
HAM state president Anil Singh emphasized the stakes of the upcoming election, warning that even a small mistake could reverse Bihar’s progress. He predicted the NDA would secure over 225 seats in the assembly, citing recent by-election victories as evidence of growing support.
RLSP state president Madan Chaudhary took a firm stance against the opposition, asserting that Bihar’s people no longer wanted to return to what he described as RJD’s “jungle raj.” He added: “The people have moved on from lanterns and are now enjoying the benefits of electricity.”
The rally witnessed a strong turnout from party workers across several constituencies, with leaders calling for continued unity and relentless efforts ahead of the elections. The NDA, they claimed, remained committed to Bihar’s development and its people’s aspirations.
