Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025: Abdullah and Md Shahil from Saharsa Clinch Victory at Kosi Division Finals

Saharsa/Patna: The Kosi Division Finals of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025 concluded in Saharsa on Wednesday, showcasing the sports knowledge and competitive spirit of school students from Saharsa, Madhepura and Supaul districts.

The event began with a written preliminary round, from which the top six teams advanced to the on-stage quiz conducted by quiz master Samiran Mondal. The final round drew enthusiastic participation from students and engagement from the audience, with Mondal’s questions testing knowledge across various sporting disciplines.

Abdullah and Md Shahil from Ucch Madhyamik Vidyalaya Bangaon Purvi, Saharsa, secured first place. The team of Kasak and Sumegha Kumari from Holy Cross Girls’ School, Madhepura, finished second, while Abhiraj Kumar and Anshu Kumar from Utkramit Uccha Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Parsarma, Supaul, claimed third place.

District Education Officer Anil Kumar, District Programme Officer Shalini Jagriti and Academic Resource Person Manish Mohan from the Bihar Education Project attended the event, encouraging participants and highlighting the importance of sports education.

The Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav, organised by the Bihar State Sports Authority, is designed to promote sports literacy among students through quizzes held at multiple levels—beginning with online rounds, followed by divisional finals, and culminating in a state-level finale in Patna on April 17.

The next divisional final will be held in Purnea on April 11.
