Samastipur/ Patna : In a tragic incident on Monday morning, a speeding truck collided with an auto-rickshaw carrying five teachers, resulting in two fatalities and four injuries. The accident occurred in the Dalsingsarai police station area, near Madhepur.

According to local sources, the teachers, who were travelling as usual to their respective schools in a shared auto-rickshaw, were struck by a fast-moving truck. The impact was so severe that two teachers died on the spot, while four others sustained serious injuries. Among the injured are three female teachers, who were quickly rushed to a nearby hospital with the help of local residents.

One of the deceased has been identified as Kamini Devi. The collision scattered pieces of flesh on the road, creating a horrifying scene. Eyewitnesses described the collision as extremely violent, with the auto completely mangled under the truck’s impact.

Residents have expressed anger over the reckless driving and are demanding stricter enforcement of traffic regulations in the area to prevent such incidents. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation and are making efforts to apprehend the truck driver, who fled the scene after the crash.

All the teachers involved reportedly taught at different schools and routinely travelled together in the same vehicle each morning.
