Former BJP MLA Asha Sinha’s Son Injured in Road Rage Brawl; RJD’s Tej Pratap Yadav Shares Viral Video, Attacks BJP

Patna: A road rage incident in the Rupaspur area of Patna on Thursday afternoon has escalated into a political flashpoint after former BJP MLA Asha Sinha’s son was injured in a violent altercation. The clash, which occurred on Nehru Path, involved a scuffle between Sinha’s vehicle and another car attempting to overtake it, resulting in a heated exchange that quickly turned physical.
Asha Sinha was reportedly returning from the BJP office with her son, Sahajanand, and a bodyguard when the incident unfolded. Following a minor collision between the vehicles, an argument erupted in the middle of the road. Eyewitnesses say it soon descended into a brawl. Sahajanand suffered a head injury, and both parties have since filed written complaints with the Rupaspur police.
While Asha Sinha alleged that her son was assaulted by the occupants of the other car, the rival party has countered with accusations of assault against the former MLA and her entourage. The police have launched an investigation and are reviewing multiple videos of the altercation that have gone viral on social media.
The incident took a political turn when RJD MLA and former minister Tej Pratap Yadav posted one such video online, accusing Asha Sinha of using her power to attack civilians. “In the presence of police, she got so enraged over a small matter that her team began beating people. Two citizens were injured,” Yadav alleged.
