Patna : Fuel prices in Patna remained stable on May 2, providing continued relief to commuters and businesses in the region. Petrol was priced at Rs 105.23 per litre, while diesel and CNG saw no significant change, standing at Rs 92.09 per litre and Rs 84.54 per kilogram, respectively. These consistent rates come amid relatively stable global oil market trends and a stronger rupee, which have helped keep domestic fuel prices in check.Industry analysts suggest that the steadiness in fuel prices is largely attributed to the balanced global crude oil market and India’s stable fuel consumption patterns. A relatively strong rupee against the US dollar has also played a role in reducing the impact of fluctuating import costs. While fuel prices have seen volatility in recent months, experts predict no major shifts in the immediate future unless there is a dramatic change in international oil supply or significant movements in currency valuations.
Local fuel dealers in Patna have also expressed cautious optimism, stating that unless there is an unforeseen disruption in the global market, fuel prices are expected to remain steady for the foreseeable future.
