Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Lays Foundation Stone for Rajendra Bhawan and Governor Secretariat Projects in Patna

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged swift and high-quality construction of new state buildings during a foundation ceremony at Raj Bhavan.


Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on June 18 attended the foundation stone laying ceremony for three major infrastructure projects within the Raj Bhavan premises in Patna — Rajendra Bhawan, the Governor Secretariat, and the Raj Bhavan Guest House.The event, also attended by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, included a detailed presentation by officials outlining the architectural and functional plans for the new buildings. Following the briefing, the chief minister emphasised the importance of timely and high-standard completion of the construction work.

Present at the event were Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Building Construction Minister Jayant Raj, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister S Siddhartha, Principal Secretary to the Governor R L Chongyu, Secretary of the Building Construction Department Kumar Ravi, Commissioner of Patna Division Chandrashekhar Singh, District Magistrate of Patna Tyagarajan S M, along with other senior officials.
