Bihari in Israel

Patna: Amidst the conflict between Iran and Israel, a video allegedly shot by an Indian, reportedly from Bihar, has gone viral, capturing what appear to be drone or missile strikes, with commentary in Bhojpuri.

The video, widely shared on social media, shows multiple aerial objects—believed to be missiles or drones—flying and falling in the vicinity. What sets the video apart is the emotional Bhojpuri commentary, offering a raw, real-time reaction from those witnessing the attack.

“Birju, run!”: Panic in Bhojpuri Amid Airstrikes

In the video, several individuals can be heard reacting in Bhojpuri and Hindi as the camera captures streaks of light across the night sky—presumed to be missiles or drones in Israel.

Baap re, bahut najdik baa!” the man filming says in shock. Another voice urgently urges, “Let’s go to the bunker, Babu. Will you go or not?

A tense exchange follows as more voices are heard saying, “Oye, run brother… Birju, run quickly… it will fall now. It has surrounded the area!

As the sky lights up with what appears to be an intercept or strike, the man filming adds, “Don’t make videos now, let’s move quickly.

The group, evidently caught in a war zone, is seen fleeing while trying to process the destruction unfolding around them.

Netizens React: “Life May Be in Danger, But Video is Must”

The video has sparked a range of reactions online. One user commented, “Where are these Biharis caught up in the war?” Another wrote sarcastically, “Life may be lost but the video is important.” Several viewers expressed concern over the safety of Indians caught in the crossfire.

110 Indian Students Safely Evacuated from Iran

Amid the hostilities, the Government of India has successfully evacuated 110 Indian students, including 90 from Kashmir, who were studying at Urmia Medical University in Iran. The students crossed the Norduz border into Armenia on Tuesday and stayed overnight in hotels in Yerevan.

According to officials, the students were flown from Yerevan to Doha via an Indigo flight early Thursday morning. They are expected to arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport by midnight.

No Casualties Reported Among Indians So Far

While the viral video has raised alarm about the presence of Indian nationals in active conflict zones, there has been no official confirmation of casualties among Indian citizens. The Ministry of External Affairs is closely monitoring the situation and has urged Indian nationals in affected regions to remain in touch with the embassy.

As the war escalates, many stranded Indian citizens—including pilgrims and students—are racing to return home, recounting traumatic experiences and narrow escapes.
