Patna: A large job fair will be organised by the Bihar Youth Congress at Gyan Bhawan in Patna on July 19. The goal is to provide jobs to at least 3,000 young people from across the state. So far, 78 companies have confirmed their participation, including big names like Tata and Wipro. The organisers are trying to bring the number of companies up to 125.
To help more youth participate, registration camps will be set up in every district. A Google form will be shared in two days for students and job seekers to register online. A special control room will also be created to handle registrations, check qualifications, and guide candidates. A team of 12 people will work from 9am to 8pm daily to assist with the process.
The job fair will offer opportunities for people who have studied from class 10 up to graduation. The Youth Congress says this event shows that employment can be created with the right effort. A party spokesperson said if a political youth wing can help 3,000 people get jobs, then the government can do even more if it wants to.
Similar job fairs were organised earlier in Delhi, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh. In Delhi, on Rahul Gandhi’s birthday, 3,680 people got jobs—700 of them were from Bihar. Congress leaders say this job fair will send a message to both the Bihar and central governments about the need to act on the unemployment crisis.
