Bihar: Three Dead, Two Critical in Violent Confrontation Over Car Parking Dispute In Aurangabad

AURANGABAD — In a shocking incident on Monday evening, three individuals lost their lives, and two others are in critical condition after a violent confrontation unfolded in Tetaria, within the jurisdiction of the Nabinagar police station. The incident took place when a group of youths in a car parked in front of a shop and refused to comply with the shopkeeper’s request. The situation escalated rapidly, culminating in a tragic series of events.

The altercation began when one of the youths opened fire on the shopkeeper, inadvertently hitting a bystander inside the shop, identified as Ramsharan Chauhan from Mahuari village. Chauhan succumbed to his injuries, adding another layer of tragedy to the already grim situation.

The commotion attracted nearby residents, who intervened by pulling out the five occupants of the car and subjecting them to a brutal assault. Though the police arrived promptly and dispersed the agitated crowd, the toll had already risen. Two of the youths succumbed to their injuries on the spot, while three others were rushed to the hospital in critical condition. One more person succumbed to injuries at the medical facility.

The victims were identified as Mohammad Anzar, Mohammad Arman, and Mohammad Mujahir, all residents of Haidernagar in Palamu district, Jharkhand. The two surviving individuals, Mohammad Vakil and Ajit Sharma, are currently in critical condition and are receiving medical attention.

The incident took an unexpected turn as it was revealed that the group was en route to visit the tomb of Sher Shah Suri in Sasaram, Bihar.

Aurangabad SP Swapna Gautam Meshram, confirming the deaths of three individuals, stated that the police are engaged in ongoing investigations and necessary actions. Meanwhile, SDPO Mohammad Amanullah Khan assured the public that the situation is currently under control.
