Bihar Entrepreneur Association Hosts Inaugural Startup Meet at its New HQ
Patna: Udyami Bhawan, the main office of the Bihar Entrepreneur Association (BEA), hosted a dynamic startup meet on Sunday, marking the initiation of a dedicated space for entrepreneurs nationwide. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 90 entrepreneurs hailing from various districts of Bihar, who gathered to gain insights into advancing their businesses.
The newly inaugurated Udyami Bhawan, also known as the Entrepreneurs Building, is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including startup hostels and technology-equipped labs. Entrepreneurs expressed their delight at the BEA’s initiative to construct Udyami Bhawan, providing them with a platform for collaboration and growth. During the event, entrepreneurs extended their request for BEA to play a more impactful role in fostering entrepreneurship, leading to increased employment opportunities in the region.
Ankit Abhishek, Treasurer and Director of Palitronics, initiated the proceedings by welcoming delegates and highlighting the regular Founders Meet organized by BEA on diverse topics like Marketing Management, Human Resources, and Emerging Technologies.
Secretary General Abhishek Kumar guided agritech, women, and young entrepreneurs, providing detailed information about BEA’s 12-year journey, including the Startup Yatra that covered every district for entrepreneurship development. He emphasized the importance of incorporating an equity culture for business growth, addressing brand-building challenges, and elucidating various central and Bihar government schemes. Entrepreneurs were encouraged to seek advice at the BEA office for business growth.
Entrepreneurs facing specific challenges presented their cases during the event. Prasan Dutt, founder of Ranjo E Cycle, sought assistance for business expansion, while Nisha Sinha, founder of The Sunday Factory, dealing in art and craft, sought guidance for marketing her paintings. Jagat Kalyan, founder of Taruvar Agro, dealing in banana fiber products, and Mrs. Zainab Begum, founder of Mushroom Girl Café, sought help in product distribution and legal compliances, respectively.
