Patna: The Bihar State Pollution Control Board has launched a Green School Competition to raise awareness about environmental protection and encourage schools for their initiatives in this direction. All government and private schools across the state are eligible to participate.
The competition is based on a self-assessment method, where schools can evaluate their efforts and apply online through the board’s website. The application form is available at https://bspcb.bihar.gov.in along with detailed guidelines for filling it out. Schools can also apply by scanning the QR code provided by the board.
The last date to submit applications is July 31 by 4 pm. According to the board, the State Council will verify the efforts of participating schools starting August 1. Selected schools will be awarded at a programme to be organised in Patna on September 7, marking International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies.
