Motihari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a grand roadshow in Motihari, Bihar, on Thursday, accompanied by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. The visit marks a significant push for infrastructure and development in the state.
Following the roadshow, Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 7,200 crore at Gandhi Maidan. The projects span across sectors such as railways, road infrastructure, fisheries, rural development and information technology. Four new Amrit Bharat Express trains will also be flagged off during the visit.
Taking to social media, CM Nitish Kumar described the occasion as a step towards a “developed Bihar for a developed India”. Welcoming the Prime Minister, he said: “You are giving a big gift to Bihar today. These projects will play a crucial role in accelerating the state’s development. Heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister for this important initiative.”
