Patna: The Animal and Fisheries Resources Department of Bihar has released the Civil List-2025 with photos of all veterinary service officers. This list was officially launched on 25 July by Dr N. Vijayalakshmi, Additional Chief Secretary of the department, at her office in Vikas Bhawan, Patna. Many senior officials and veterinary officers were present at the event.
The civil list includes important details about each officer such as their name, designation, category number, educational qualifications, email ID, mobile number, and photo. The list has been prepared based on the officers working as of 1 April 2025. Officials said it will make administrative work easier and bring more transparency to the system.
Dr Vijayalakshmi praised the team for preparing this detailed list, saying it was awaited for years and will now help in better management of veterinary services in the state. She added that veterinary officers play an important role in taking care of animals and ensuring a strong animal health system in Bihar.
She congratulated everyone involved in making the list and said it would act as a useful guide for departmental work in the future. The government hopes this step will improve coordination among officers and benefit livestock farmers across Bihar.
