Patna: The Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) marked a new milestone with the launch of its Bengaluru City Alumni Chapter during a meet held on Sunday. The gathering brought together graduates from multiple batches for an afternoon of networking, nostalgia, and renewed commitment to their alma mater.
CIMP was represented by director Prof (Dr) Rana Singh, associate professor Prof Ranjeet Kumar, and alumni coordinator Prof Nitish Nigam. Addressing the alumni, Prof Rana said that former students are “lifelong representatives of the institute, whose successes and ongoing involvement are crucial to CIMP’s identity and development.”
The event featured alumni sharing personal stories about the institute’s influence on their careers and lives, along with recollections of memorable moments on campus. The highlight of the afternoon was the formal establishment of the Bengaluru City Chapter of the CIMP Alumni Committee, with Aryan Kumar Sharma (Batch 2008–10) elected as president, Shilpy Verma (Batch 2011–13) as vice-president, and Naina (Batch 2014–16) as treasurer.
The new chapter aims to serve as an active platform for professional networking, mentorship opportunities, and collaborative projects for alumni based in Bengaluru. The meet concluded with a collective pledge from both the alumni and the institute to strengthen ties and set a benchmark for engagement across other cities.
