Patna: The row over Bihar’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list intensified on Wednesday, with Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav alleging that Janata Dal (United) MLC Dinesh Singh – husband of NDA MP Veena Devi – holds two separate voter IDs and is registered in multiple constituencies.
In a post on X, Yadav claimed Singh possesses two EPIC IDs — UTO1134527 and REM0933267 — and is listed as a voter in two different Lok Sabha constituencies, across two separate districts, and in two different assembly segments. He further alleged that Singh filled two separate counting forms during the SIR process.

“Did the JD(U) MLC himself sign two different forms? How was he allowed to have two votes in separate constituencies with different EPIC cards in the new draft list? Is the Election Commission turning a blind eye because he is close to the Chief Minister? Is this not electoral fraud to benefit the NDA?” Yadav wrote.
The RJD leader also demanded to know whether the Election Commission would issue notices to Singh from both locations.
The accusations follow similar claims Yadav made earlier about Singh’s wife, Veena Devi, the Lok Sabha MP from Vaishali. He alleged she too holds two EPIC IDs — UTO1134543 and GSB1037894 — and is registered in two different constituencies, with her age recorded as 55 years in one and 54 in another.
