Patna: The Janata Dal (United) is set to launch a Facebook Live programme aimed at underscoring the political and developmental significance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar.
The series will begin on Saturday with the opening discussion titled “Why Nitish Kumar is important for Bihar”. Party spokesperson Nihora Prasad Yadav is scheduled to lead the session, focusing on Kumar’s record of sustainable development, welfare measures and the governance model that the JD(U) credits with reshaping the state.
According to party leaders, the initiative will serve as a platform to engage directly with the public on policies introduced under CM Nitish’s leadership, from welfare schemes to governance reforms. The JD(U) plans to use successive sessions to address a range of topics linked to the chief minister’s tenure, ahead of the political season in Bihar.
The programme is being viewed within political circles as both a defence of CM Nitish’s legacy and an attempt to strengthen the party’s connect with the electorate at a critical juncture.
