Special Screening of “Lost Ladies” Film in Patna ahead of International Women’s Day

Patna: On Wednesday, a special screening of the film “Lost Ladies” was organized by the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth, to commemorate International Women’s Day, which will be celebrated on March 8. The screening took place at the Cinepolis theater at P&M Mall in Patna.
Over 300 women from the city attended the screening at a private theater. The main objective of this screening was to empower women and raise awareness about their rights. Harjot Kaur Bumrah, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth, welcomed the women and emphasized the importance of women being empowered and aware of their rights. She stated that an educated society can build a better nation, and it is essential for daughters to be educated.
The women in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the film. Among those present were members of the IAS Officers’ Wives Association, including Mamta Mehrotra, Indu Sinha, Director of Cultural Affairs, Ruby, Special Officer Punya Taru, Amrita Pritam, Geeta Jain, Nisha Jha, Nina Srivastava, and approximately 300 other women.
The event aimed to celebrate and empower women, aligning with the spirit of International Women’s Day.
