Gaya: A young man was arrested at Gaya International Airport on Friday after security personnel discovered 10 live cartridges in his luggage, prompting heightened security measures at the facility.
Officials said the man, identified as Anuj Kumar, a resident of Chand Chaura Lalit Nagar under the Vishnupad police station, was preparing to board a flight when routine scanning of passengers’ bags flagged his belongings. Upon inspection, the cartridges were recovered, and police were immediately notified.
“The young man was caught during baggage checking with 10 live cartridges. Police action is underway, and the investigation into the matter is ongoing,” said Anand Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya.
