Bollywood’s ‘The Lost Girl’ Cast Arrives in Patna for Promotions
Patna – The Bollywood film ‘The Lost Girl’ saw its cast arriving in Patna today for promotions. Directed by Bihar’s Prabhat Thakur, the Hindi feature film is set to release in cinemas on April 5. The film is based on true and real events. Actor Bhupesh Singh and music composer Vivek Asthana were present for the occasion. They mentioned that the film will showcase both violence as well as emotions.
The main character of the film is portrayed by Prachi Bansal, who plays Suhani, a girl separated from her parents during the horrific 1984 Sikh riots. She lives on the streets for many days, facing hunger and thirst, until she finally reunites with her parents after 15 years of struggle. Her story becomes an inspiration for society. ‘The Lost Girl’ conveys a message of women empowerment in society. Aroonika Ranolia has played the role of young Suhani in the film.
The film was shot in Hansi, Haryana. Due to being a period film, many scenes were shot on real locations. This is a family film and is embellished with good songs. Music director Vivek Asthana mentioned that there are three songs in the entire film and due to it being a period film, the music was prepared with live instruments.
