Purnia: Purnia braces for yet another high-voltage political event as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a massive gathering at the Rangbhoomi ground on April 16. This marks the Prime Minister’s third visit to Bihar within a span of 12 days, underscoring the state’s significance in the ongoing electoral fervor. Scheduled to speak between 10:30 and 11:30, PM Modi is anticipated to rally support for NDA candidate Santosh Kushwaha, with a vigorous discourse expected to span over two hours.

The impending address is poised to be a showdown between political titans, with the opposition squarely in PM Modi’s crosshairs. Ahead of his arrival, the NDA convened a crucial press conference at its office here on Friday, heralding the event with formal announcements. The gathering featured prominent figures including Bihar Government Minister Lessy Singh, Purnia MP Santosh Kushwaha, and BJP District President Rakesh Kumar among others, signaling the unified front marshaled by the coalition.

Santosh Kushwaha, the NDA candidate, expressed anticipation for what he deemed a historic occasion, predicting an influx of attendees not just from Kosi Seemanchal but from across the state. The lineup of speakers promises a formidable display of political prowess, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Singha, and other key leaders set to grace the stage alongside PM Modi.

Minister Lessy Singh emphasized the transformative potential of PM Modi’s visit, particularly for the Seemanchal region, attributing it to the Prime Minister’s stature on the international stage. Confidence ran high among NDA ranks, with assertions of sweeping victories both in Bihar and across the nation. Darbhanga MLA Sanjay Saraogi, BJP spokesperson Arvind Kumar Singh, and Purnia Sadar MLA Vijay Khemka echoed sentiments of unwavering trust in PM Modi’s leadership.
