Patna: In a key move to consolidate support ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Ritesh Ranjan Singh alias Bittu Singh, the Jan Suraaj Party candidate for the Digha Assembly constituency, hosted a strategic meeting with all ward councilors from the area at his home.
The discussions focused on both the pressing development issues facing Digha and the immediate plan for the upcoming elections. Sources confirm that a plan was formulated to unite the councilors’ efforts, aiming to create a powerful, localized front capable of defeating the opposition. Given the strong hold that ward councilors have over local residents, their unified support is considered a crucial game-changer for any candidate in the assembly segment.
During the conversation, Bittu Singh appealed to the councilors to act as messengers, spreading the vision and core principles of ‘Jan Suraaj’—the political movement established by Prashant Kishor—to the public in their respective wards.
Singh emphasized that Digha faces age-old problems that can only be resolved through sincere efforts and sustained local support. He urged the councilors to highlight these local issues and become the true voice of the people, committing to address the community’s long-standing grievances.
The meeting concluded with a show of solidarity, as all present ward councilors expressed their full support and blessings for Singh’s victory. They assured the candidate they would dedicate their efforts at the grassroots level to ensure the message of Jan Suraaj reaches every household within the constituency.
