Bihar: Teacher’s Ear Cut Off in Shocking Assault by Wife’s Former Boyfriend

Sitamarhi: Shock and horror gripped the residents of Sitamarhi as news emerged of a gruesome attack on a teacher, resulting in the severing of his ear. The accused, reportedly identified as the former boyfriend of the injured teacher’s wife, launched the assault in a chilling act of vengeance.

The victim, a resident of a village under the jurisdiction of Nagar police station, was targeted around 9 pm on Friday. He runs coaching classes at his residence. He was approached by the assailant under the pretext of seeking educational assistance. Concealed behind dark glasses and a mask, the assailant engaged in conversation with him before requesting food due to purported hunger.

Upon obliging and ordering snacks, the situation took a horrifying turn as the assailant retrieved a sword from his bag and launched a frenzied attack. The teacher sustained grievous injuries to his head and hands, with his ear brutally severed in the assault. The assailant fled immediately after the heinous act.

Following the incident, the teacher was rushed to Sadar Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment for his injuries. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the matter to apprehend the perpetrator and ascertain the motive behind the attack.

In a chilling revelation, the teacher hinted at the involvement of his wife’s former boyfriend in the assault, although he declined to formally identify the assailant.
