Chhapra: As the Bihar assembly elections heat up, RJD candidate Khesari Lal Yadav, who is contesting from Chhapra Sadar, launched a direct attack on fellow Bhojpuri star and BJP MP Ravi Kishan on Friday. Speaking to a crowd in Chhapra, Yadav questioned the governance record of Kishan and the Modi government, asking pointedly, “I want to ask Ravi Bhaiya…” and highlighting issues of local development and unfulfilled promises.
Khesari Lal leveraging his popularity as a Bhojpuri singer and actor, also appealed to voters to reflect on the performance of the BJP-led government, suggesting that the people of Bihar consider the impact on ordinary citizens before casting their votes.
His remarks underscore the intensifying competition between high-profile candidates in the region, where celebrity candidates from both political parties are increasingly influencing voter sentiment.
