Patna: Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister cum Tourism Minister, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, highlighted the cultural and historical significance of Bihar, inviting global tourists to explore the state’s rich heritage. Speaking at a press conference organized by Incredible India in Tokyo, Japan, as part of the JATA 2023 event, Tejashwi expressed gratitude to the event organizers and the Indian Embassy in Japan for their support in promoting Bihar’s tourism.

During the inauguration of the Incredible India and Bihar Pavilion at the JATA Travel Show, Tejashwi emphasized Bihar’s exceptional potential as a tourism hub, particularly its association with Buddhism. He shed light on the Buddhist Circuit, a key attraction in the state, outlining the various notable sites including Bodh Gaya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Vaishali, East Champaran, and West Champaran. He accentuated the significance of the Mahabodhi Temple and the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University, both designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as major draws for global visitors.
