Saharsa: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday appealed to voters in Bihar to deliver a decisive mandate for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming assembly elections, urging them to “defeat the forces of Jungle Raj so badly that they never dare to think ill of Bihar again.”
Addressing a large rally in Saharsa, PM Modi said, “Your first vote should go to the one who will form the government. A vote for development is a vote for a better Bihar.” He called on first-time voters to ensure their ballots “do not go waste,” adding, “Your vote should form a government, not weaken it. The NDA government is set to return.”
The Prime Minister also took a moment to celebrate India’s recent victory in the Women’s Cricket World Cup, calling it a proud moment for the nation. “From this land of women’s empowerment, I extend heartfelt congratulations to India’s daughters who created history yesterday,” Modi said. “After 25 years, the world has a new champion — our daughters have given this pride to the nation.”
He added, “These daughters from middle-class families have brought honour to the country. When our daughters progress, our hearts swell with pride. Today, they are flying fighter jets and excelling in every field.”
Praising Bihar’s cultural legacy, Pm Modi said the state has always been a “land of knowledge and respect for women,” invoking Mother Sita, Goddess Bharti, and Vidushi Gargi as enduring symbols of empowerment.
With just two days to go before the first phase of polling on November 6, Pm Modi urged voters in Saharsa and Madhepura to ensure high turnout and reaffirm faith in development and stability under the NDA.
