Vaishali: As Bihar eagerly awaits the assembly election results on November 14, political supporters across the state are resorting to prayers and rituals. In Vaishali district, RJD leader Kedar Prasad Yadav has organised a 24-hour hawan and yagna for Tejashwi Yadav to become the next Chief Minister.
Holding the ceremony at Bhagwanpur Kiratpur Rajaram village, Yadav — a close aide of Lalu Prasad Yadav — said he had taken a vow before Lord Shiva. “Tejashwi Yadav is Bihar’s future. He will bring jobs to the youth and lead the state toward progress,” he declared while performing the ritual.
Yadav added that this spiritual effort reflects the hopes of millions of RJD supporters across Bihar. “I have started this 24-hour yagna so that Tejashwi ji becomes the Chief Minister and ushers in Bihar’s development,” he said.
This is not his first such devotion. During Chhath Puja, Yadav had reportedly performed a two-kilometre dand pranaam (prostration) at a local ghat, praying for Tejashwi’s victory.
