SITAMARHI: Prashant Kishore, former poll strategist and convenor of Jan Suraj campaign, on Friday reaffirmed his determination for the forthcoming elections. Asserting a public meet at Sitamarhi during his ongoing statewide padyatra, Kishore asserted that if Jan Suraj fails to reform the system, there is a risk that the public will perceive his efforts as mere village and block visits without tangible impact.
Challenging the political landscape of Bihar, he declared, “Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad cannot intimidate me. If I have entered the electoral arena in Bihar, I am prepared to fight with such vigor that it will leave a lasting impression on all leaders, making their teeth sour.”
Highlighting his track record in West Bengal, Kishore emphasized, “You witnessed my work in West Bengal, where I eased their anxieties. Despite the BJP leveraging the strength of the entire nation, I had predicted that they would not surpass 100 seats. Did the BJP manage to cross that threshold? Despite investing significant resources, they fell short. Some individuals in society engage in battles for the sake of fighting, but we are not among them. Our entry into the arena is a result of meticulous planning, considering the challenges, efforts, arrangements, and resources required for this formidable task.”
Kishore elaborated on the misconception held by leaders, stating, “These leaders assume we are easily pushover candidates. We, hailing from Bihar, pose challenges even to prominent figures. Leaders from across the country seek my advice when contesting elections, so what can these local leaders do to thwart my efforts? Once the people unite, no force can withstand the collective power of the public. Therefore, contemplate the future of Bihar and resist becoming subservient to anyone.”
