Patna: Nitish Kumar is set to receive global recognition after taking oath as Bihar’s Chief Minister for the tenth time, with the World Book of Records, London, confirming its intention to honour him for what it describes as a “historic and unique achievement.”
In a congratulatory letter sent to the Chief Minister, the organisation said no leader in any Indian state has taken the oath of office as Chief Minister ten times between 1947 and 2025. The milestone, it noted, sets a new benchmark in the country’s democratic system and reflects a rare continuity of leadership.
The letter emphasised that the achievement is not merely personal. It signifies “the enduring trust of the people of Bihar” in Nitish Kumar’s governance, development agenda and administrative stability.
