Patna: The two-day spiritual youth festival Navras concluded on Sunday at ISKCON Patna, culminating in a city procession that wound its way through prominent parts of the Bihar capital.
On the closing day, hundreds of young devotees joined a Nagar Sankirtan, chanting and singing devotional hymns as they moved from the ISKCON temple through the planetarium area and Kotwali. Earlier, a devotional play centred on the life and teachings of Lord Krishna was staged at the ISKCON auditorium, drawing an enthusiastic audience.

Organisers said the festival had seen strong participation from young people across Bihar and other parts of the country. Shri Adikarta Das, co-chairman of ISKCON’s Temple Management Committee (TMC), said thousands of youths had engaged in devotional activities, music, art and programmes focused on spiritual awakening over the two days. “Such participation helps shape values and outlooks that will benefit them in the future,” he said.
Radhapati Das, a senior member of the TMC and director of the ISKCON Youth Forum, described the event as a platform for holistic development. “Navras was organised with the aim of nurturing the moral, cultural and spiritual growth of young people. This effort will continue in the years ahead,” he said.

The festival also received blessings from His Holiness Bhakti Pariprajak, secretary of the ISKCON Zonal Management Team, who addressed the youth and wished them a purposeful and value-driven future. Senior Zonal Management Team members Shri Gokuleshwar Das and Shri Rishi Kumar Das, along with the president of ISKCON Gaya, Shri Jagdish Shyam Das, were present at the concluding ceremony.

Organisers said Navras was conceived to reconnect young people with spiritual values, cultural traditions and a sense of service, positioning devotion not only as a personal practice but also as a social and cultural force in public life.
