Patna: City authorities have announced a series of traffic restrictions in Patna on December 23, as a roadshow by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Working President Nitin Nabin will move through central parts of the city.
The roadshow will begin at Patna Airport and travel via Aranya Bhawan, Sheikhpura Mor, Patel Bhawan, Punaichak, High Court, Urja Bhawan, the Income Tax roundabout, before concluding at the BJP state office and Miller High School.

❌ No Vehicle Zones:

- Veerchand Patel Path (R-Block → Income Tax Roundabout)
✅ Allowed Vehicles:
- 🚑 Ambulances
- 🚒 Fire engines
- ⚰️ Hearses
- 🏥 Patient transport vehicles
- ⚖️ Judicial or official vehicles with passes

- Patel Roundabout → Airport: No parking
- Outer parking areas available for attendees
🔄 Diversion Routes:
- Eastbound from Saguna Mor & Danapur → Jagdev Path, Ashiana-Digha Road, Digha-Kurji-Rajapur Bridge
- Westbound from Dumra TOP → Buddha Marg, R-Block, Gardanibagh, Anisabad Roundabout
🚌 Parking for Participants:
- Small vehicles → GPO Roundabout → R-Block
- Large vehicles/buses → One lane on Atal Path

Commuters to and from the airport will be redirected via Tamtam Padav, Phulwarisharif, and Jagdev Path. Parking will be completely restricted from Patel Roundabout to the airport, with attendees advised to use outer parking areas and to arrive at least three hours before the roadshow begins.
Traffic diversions have also been outlined: vehicles approaching from Saguna Mor and Danapur towards the east are advised to use Jagdev Path, Ashiana-Digha Road, and Digha-Kurji-Rajapur Bridge. Westbound traffic from Dumra TOP to the Income Tax roundabout, as well as from Dak Bungalow, will be redirected via Buddha Marg, R-Block, Gardanibagh, and Anisabad roundabout. Veerchand Patel Path will remain restricted from R-Block to the Income Tax roundabout.
Authorities have designated parking for party workers’ smaller vehicles and general public participants from GPO Roundabout to R-Block, while larger vehicles and buses will be accommodated in one lane on Atal Path.
