Patna: Bankipur MLA Nitin Nabin arrived in Patna on Monday for his first visit since being appointed the national working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He flew in from Bihar Bhawan in Delhi for a two-day tour of the state capital.
The airport witnessed a colourful and unusual welcome, with elephants, camels, and horses lined up to greet him. Outside the terminal, women dancers performed to the popular song “Jodi Modi-Nitish Hit Ho Gail,” drawing a festive crowd. The celebrations caused a traffic jam stretching over one kilometre in the surrounding area.
Nitin Nabin is scheduled to lead a six-kilometre roadshow through Patna, culminating at the Miller High School grounds. A grand programme has been organised at the school to mark the occasion.
