Patna: Tej Pratap Yadav, the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, has shared an emotional birthday message for his sister, departing from his usual Hindi posts to express his feelings in English.
Yadav, who frequently draws attention for his vlogs and public appearances, wrote a heartfelt note on the occasion of his sister Chanda Yadav’s birthday, describing her as a constant source of support in his life.
Happy Birthday, Chanda Didi.
I may not be the best brother in your life but I know this for sure: I love you, I respect you, and I’ve learnt because of you. I know you’ve always supported me. I know you care, even when you don’t say it out loud.

“Happy Birthday, Chanda Didi. I may not be the best brother in your life, but I know for sure that I love you, I respect you, and I have learned so much from you,” he wrote, adding that she had always stood by him, even when her support was unspoken.
Thanking her for being “the big sister I needed”, Yadav said he was grateful for her “silent and steadfast” presence. He credited her with helping him grow and shaping aspects of his personality, saying he would “always be grateful beyond words”.
In the post, Yadav also reflected on resilience and family bonds, writing that regardless of life’s challenges — “turmoil or peace, struggle or success” — they would always stand together. “She is not just my sister, she is my support system,” he said.
Concluding the message, Yadav acknowledged his own imperfections, noting that even when he strays, he is certain his sister will be there when he finds his way back. “Thank you for being you. Happy Birthday, Didi. Lots of love and best wishes,” he wrote.
