Patna: Despite global economic challenges, IIT Patna has secured impressive placements for its graduating batch 2024, showcasing resilience and excellence in the extended placement season.
As of the latest update, 215 esteemed companies have extended a total of 423 job offers to the students of the 2024 batch. This achievement underscores IIT Patna’s robust academic framework and its commitment to producing industry-ready professionals.
In terms of placement percentage of the 2024 batch, B.Tech Computer Science & Engineering topped the list with an impressive 98.80%, followed by Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at 91.30% and Electrial Engineering at 89.19%. Overall, as of now, about 86.82% of the registered and intrested B.Tech students have been placed. This indicates a strong placement performance for the 2024 batch, inspite of the tough market scenario experienced this year. Currently few more processes are undergoing, and these statistics would improve further.
These figures highlight the exceptional caliber of students and the relevance of the curriculum in meeting industry demands. It is worthy to mention that in the past two consecutive academic sessions, IIT Patna students have received over 400 job offers.
The placements span across diverse sectors including IT/Software, Finance & Banking, Analytics & Consulting, Core Engineering, E-Commerce, Health Care, Manufacturing, and Automobile.
