Patna: Seven rounds of gunfire were fired on Patna’s Boring Road on Monday night, leaving one person injured and prompting a police investigation into the incident.
According to Buddha Colony SHO Pallav, the shooters arrived in a white car, opening fire before fleeing through a nearby intersection. Police recovered a 7.65mm cartridge and seven shell casings at the scene. A case has been registered against 15 unidentified individuals.
The shooting occurred near Gautam Hotel, within the jurisdiction of Buddha Colony police station. Reports indicate that one person was shot, though their identity has not yet been confirmed.
Shopkeepers and passersby were left shocked as the shots rang out. Only a few shops were open at the time, and many proprietors closed their businesses and ran to safety upon hearing the gunfire.
Police continue to investigate the motive behind the attack and are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.
