Patna: The Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee has constituted a three-member protocol committee to better manage party events and internal meetings in Bihar. The move is aimed at strengthening organisational discipline as the party increases its political outreach and public programmes across the state.
The committee comprises Dr Shashi Ranjan, Roshan Kumar Singh and Kumar Diwakar Singh. They will be responsible for coordinating arrangements during party meetings, overseeing stage management, and ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of senior leaders. The panel is also expected to bring uniformity to the format and conduct of official events.
State Congress president Rajesh Ram said the growing number of political activities made it necessary to form a dedicated team for protocol management. He expressed confidence that the committee would perform its duties efficiently and help reinforce the party’s organisational structure in Bihar.
The newly appointed members thanked the leadership for entrusting them with the responsibility. They said they would work with full commitment to maintain discipline and improve coordination at all party events, adding that organisational strength would remain their top priority.
