Muzaffarpur: In a year when lakhs of students across India awaited their board results with anxiety, one student from Muzaffarpur stood out for an exceptional performance that has become a source of celebration in his neighbourhood. Ayushman Chaudhary, a Class 12 commerce student from Professors Colony in Aghoria Bazar, scored 97.20% in the CBSE examinations, securing the top rank in his school. The result has drawn attention not only within the school campus but also among local residents, who gathered to congratulate the family after the announcement.
For Ayushman, this result was not an isolated success but part of a consistent academic journey. He had previously scored 96% in the CBSE Class 10 board examinations, establishing himself early as one of the strongest students in his batch. Teachers and family members say his disciplined routine and focus were visible from the beginning, and his latest performance only reinforced that reputation. His achievement has also become a talking point among younger students in the area, many of whom now see his journey as a benchmark for what sustained preparation can achieve.
Speaking after the results, Ayushman said his success came from regular study rather than any shortcut or rigid formula. He said the foundation of his preparation remained the standard NCERT textbooks, which he described as the most important resource for CBSE examinations. He said understanding concepts deeply and solving as many practice questions as possible played a major role in building confidence. Alongside this, he maintained regular revision and strict time management, adding that confidence was as important as hard work during the examination period. He has now set his sights on becoming a Chartered Accountant and says he plans to continue with the same discipline as he moves into the next stage of study.
The family says the result is not only a personal milestone but also a moment of pride for the wider household. His father, Ashwini Kumar, said his son had gone far beyond what he himself had achieved as a student and credited the support of a joint family environment. His grandmother, Manju Chaudhary, said Ayushman had always shown self-discipline and rarely needed reminders to study, while his mother, Subhashini Kumari, described the result as a proud and emotional moment for the family. In a city where board examination results often define the next step in a young person’s life, Ayushman’s success has become a story of consistency, family support and ambition.
