Patna: Madhya Pradesh deputy chief minister and health minister Bihar Health Minister Nishant Kumar Showcases Digital Healthcare Model During MP Deputy CM’s Patna Visit visited the Bihar health department’s command and control centre in Patna to review the state’s digital healthcare systems and hospital monitoring mechanisms.
Senior officials from Madhya Pradesh, including health commissioner Dhanraju S., accompanied him during the visit.
Bihar health minister Nishant Kumar and senior departmental officials welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the digital initiatives being implemented in the state’s government hospitals.

Focus on Bhavya portal and hospital monitoring
Health department secretary Kumar Ravi gave a detailed presentation on the department’s digital services, including the functioning of the Bhavya portal.
Officials said the portal has been designed to improve transparency, accessibility and efficiency in healthcare delivery.
The delegation was also informed about the state-wide hospital monitoring system, live surveillance arrangements and grievance redressal mechanisms being operated through the command and control centre.
Bihar highlights digital healthcare initiatives
During the interaction, officials explained how digital tools are being used to streamline healthcare administration and strengthen service delivery in government hospitals.
Rajendra Shukla appreciated Bihar’s efforts to modernise public healthcare services through technology-driven systems.
Bihar health minister Nishant Kumar said the department was continuously upgrading digital infrastructure to ensure faster, transparent and improved healthcare access for citizens.
