Patna: Patna Women’s College inaugurated its Summer Camp 2026 on May 23 with a series of fitness and awareness activities designed to encourage teamwork, discipline and social engagement among students.
The camp was inaugurated by Sister Sanjana, who marked the opening of the programme focused on physical fitness, leadership and social responsibility.
According to organisers, 58 students enrolled for the camp, while 52 attended the opening day sessions.
Fitness Sessions And Group Activities
The day began with warm-up exercises and stretching sessions conducted group-wise to help participants prepare for physical activities. Students later took part in basic exercise routines led by selected groups, with organisers aiming to encourage leadership and active participation.
The camp has been structured around six student groups comprising nine participants each. The groups include Annu Ke Warriors, Royal Challengers, Team Alpha, Team Diamonds, Team Ice Igniters and Avengers. Activities are being conducted through a rotation-based schedule to ensure equal participation opportunities.
Cleanliness Drive Competition
A cleanliness drive formed one of the central activities of the opening day. Students participated in teams as part of an initiative to promote environmental awareness and cleanliness on campus.
Team Ice Igniters and Team Alpha jointly secured first place in the competition. Annu Ke Warriors finished second, while Royal Challengers placed third.
Organisers also conducted height and weight check-ups for participants during the day.
Coordinators Oversee Programme
The camp is being coordinated by Dr Manjula Shushila and Mrs Quazi Bushra Ahmed.
Khushi Kumari was also present during the inaugural sessions.
College officials said the summer camp will continue over the coming days with additional sessions focused on fitness, personality development and team-building activities.
