Patna: A modern PEB Fabrication Material manufacturing unit will be established at Industrial Area Bariyarpur with an investment of Rs 62.27 crore, giving fresh momentum to industrial investment and manufacturing activity in Bihar.
The unit will be set up by Experia Prefaxo Pvt Ltd and is expected to generate around 400 direct and indirect employment opportunities, according to officials.
Authorities said the project would contribute significantly to strengthening Bihar’s industrial infrastructure and expanding modern manufacturing operations within the state.
Land Allotted Through BIADA Project Clearance Committee
The approval was granted during a meeting of the Project Clearance Committee (PCC) of the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA).
The meeting was chaired by Industries Secretary Kundan Kumar, who also serves as Managing Director of BIADA and IDA.
During the meeting, proposals related to allotment of industrial land and plug-and-play sheds were approved across various industrial areas in Bihar.
As part of the approvals:
- Experia Prefaxo Pvt Ltd was allotted five acres of land at IA Bariyarpur
- The land will be used for establishing the PEB fabrication manufacturing facility
Project Expected to Boost Industrial and Construction Sectors
Officials said the proposed unit was expected to provide fresh momentum to Bihar’s industrial and construction sectors.
According to the Industries Department, the project is likely to:
- Increase local economic activity
- Create skill-based employment opportunities
- Support development of a modern industrial ecosystem
Authorities added that the facility would contribute to Bihar’s broader efforts to strengthen manufacturing infrastructure and attract industrial investment.
Bihar Govt Highlights Investor-Friendly Push
Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh said newly approved industrial projects were giving a new direction to Bihar’s industrial and technological growth.
She stated that the projects would generate large-scale employment opportunities for local youth while helping create a more skilled workforce.
The minister added that the Bihar government was continuing efforts to build an investor-friendly environment and establish the state as a modern industrial and manufacturing hub.
Govt Emphasises Infrastructure and Policy Support
Kundan Kumar said the state government remained committed to balanced and inclusive industrial development.
According to him, BIADA was allotting industrial plots through transparent and time-bound processes while ensuring:
- Robust infrastructure
- Better connectivity
- Simplified procedures
- Policy support for investors
Officials said these measures were intended to facilitate faster implementation of industrial projects and encourage further investment across Bihar.
