Patna: Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav Pappu Yadav has made a series of allegations concerning the high-profile Rishu Shri Sinha case, claiming that the matter extends far beyond a single individual and involves a wider network of influential figures, contractors and power brokers.
Addressing a press conference in Patna, Yadav described the case as an organised syndicate that allegedly operated through a web of companies and connections within government departments. He called for a comprehensive investigation into the individuals and entities linked to the network.
Claims Of Benami Companies And Government Contracts
Yadav alleged that Rishu Shri Sinha controlled around 15 benami and shell companies through which government contracts and tenders worth substantial amounts were secured over several years.
He questioned the rapid rise of the contractor and demanded a detailed investigation into the source of his wealth.
“Who is Rishu Shri Sinha, and how did he become so wealthy in such a short period of time? This requires a thorough investigation by the Enforcement Directorate and other agencies,” Yadav said.
The MP did not present documentary evidence during the press conference to support the allegations.
Allegations Of A Larger Network
The Purnia MP further claimed that several influential individuals were linked to the network allegedly operated by Rishu Shri Sinha.
He alleged that efforts were being made to shield the principal beneficiaries of the alleged scam while focusing attention on a limited number of individuals.
According to Yadav, the investigation should not be confined to a few accused but should examine the broader ecosystem that enabled contracts and projects to be awarded over the years.

Questions Raised Over Tender Information
Yadav also alleged that the Enforcement Directorate had sought information from the Urban Development Department regarding tenders awarded to companies allegedly linked to Rishu Shri Sinha.
He claimed that investigators had requested details of contracts awarded to the identified firms and the value of work assigned to them, but that a clear response had not yet been provided.
The allegations could not be independently verified.
MP Vows Further Revelations
In one of his strongest remarks, Yadav claimed that the trail of the alleged scam could lead to prominent public figures and former ministers.
However, he declined to name any individuals during the press conference.
Instead, he said he would disclose the identities of those allegedly involved, along with supporting evidence, within a week.
The MP also said he intended to approach the courts to seek what he described as a fair and expeditious examination of the matter.
